RUNNERS & WALKERS ARE BEING RECRUITED FOR DIABETES MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAM 

20 week comprehensive training program

For the Phoenix Rock n Roll Marathon  

Join the fight against diabetes and get in the best shape of your life! Join  Team D, raise funds to fight diabetes and begin training for a challenge of a lifetime.

TEAM DIABETES is an Official Charity and training program of the 2010 P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon being held on January 17, 2010. Participants can run or walk in memory or honor of someone with diabetes.

Nearly 24 million Americans have diabetes. Participants can help make a difference in the lives of diabetes patients by training to run or a walk a half or full marathon with TEAM DIABETES. Hundreds of Valley residents have trained with TEAM-D since the program began in 1998.

TEAM D provides support, encouragement and the necessary training to help participants reach their goal of completing a marathon! The benefits of TEAM-D include: group training and fund-raising support, clinics given by fitness & medical professionals, social events and TEAM races, marathon entry fee and training gear, and incentive and top fund-raising awards. People of all experience levels are welcome.
