Nearly 24 million Americans have diabetes.
Participants can help make a difference in the lives of diabetes patients by
training to run or a walk a half or full marathon with TEAM DIABETES. Hundreds
of Valley residents have trained with TEAM-D since the program began in 1998.
TEAM D provides support, encouragement and the
necessary training to help participants reach their goal of completing a
marathon! The benefits of TEAM-D include: group training and fund-raising support,
clinics given by fitness & medical professionals, social events and TEAM
races, marathon entry fee and training gear, and incentive and top fund-raising
awards. People of all experience levels are welcome.
