We are honored to write this letter in support of Dr. Pristash's nomination. We strongly believe that she is very deserving of this award. Since Annunication Catholic School's inception three years ago, our daughter has been a student there. As a result, we have had the opportunity and privilege to get to know Dr. Pristash throughout the years and could not be more pleased with her positive influence on the school. Simply stated, we believe that she is the heart and soul of Annunciation. Her unwavering dedication has resulted in the positive growth and reputation of the school. She is a role model for what can be accomplished through hard work and faith. Dr. Pristash goes “above and beyond the call of duty” on a daily basis. With seemingly boundless amounts of energy and patience, and a “hands on” approach, she wears many different hats on any given day. For example, she can be seen teaching classes, tutoring students after school, helping out with extracurricular activities, cleaning up after a school event, and “getting the word out” about our school on the weekends. Dr. Pristash definitely went “above and beyond” when she tutored our daughter. She made it so enjoyable that our daughter didn’t even mind the extra work! Dr. Pristash is accessible and responsive as well. Her timely responses to emails and requests are a pleasant surprise, keeping families wondering when she has time to rest! It's probably safe to say that anyone involved in the school considers Dr. Pristash to be an angel on earth and a huge reason why Annunciation continues to flourish. She exemplifies the type of leadership that brings out the best in others. We believe that Annunciation is a place where teachers enjoy teaching, students enjoy learning, and families enjoy being a part of the community. If every teacher and school administrator had a portion of Dr. Pristash's dedication and enthusiasm to serving others, than our world would be a better place and every child would have the best possible opportunity to realize their fullest potential.
