Mrs. Yonker is the best teacher I have ever had. I came into her class knowing nothing about Language Arts, and from the past 2 years in her class I have grown as a writer and reader. Most teachers are good teachers but Mrs. Yonker sticks in your mind and she makes everyone feel like they have a voice. She does fun and beneficial writing projects for us. She always has goals for us to achieve and she makes sure that we all understand what we are learning. She is assertive, passionate, and has a great sense of humor so our class is never boring and everyone pays attention. Mrs. Yonker knows what she is doing, she makes us think outside of the box. She has a strong bond with our all students and is open to everyone. She has helped me through times when I was confused and lost. She always has creative ways of teaching us, she finds a way to engage us into our work. Mrs. Yonker is always prepared and organized with all of her work and activities we do. My list could go on and on about how amazing of a teacher Mrs. Yonker is, she deserves this more than anyone one else. Mrs. Yonker is truly amazing, and I hope she can win this. I can honestly say Mrs. Yonker has changed my life and the goals I have for myself. I want her to know that I am beyond thankful for that. And that's why my teacher, Mrs. Yonker should win.
