She is isn't like every other teacher on our campus, she actually LIKES her students and LOVES her job! She gets her students motivated and inspires them to better themselves for their own good. Mrs. Ewan doesn't sugar-coat things like many teachers do. She keeps us in line and tells us the facts about the real world, she encourages us to make wiser decisions and to live to our fullest potential. She's always willing to help anyone in need and puts herself last. She is dedicated to her students and is passionate about our school! Being the wife of the head football coach, she has tons of pep and school spirit! She is very sweet too, she's the kind of person that you instantly love right from the start! Going to her class is always a blast because she relates whatever were learning to something relevant in our lives. She's hilarious too! By the end of class everyone is having a great day and has a smile on their face. She truly cares about her students too, i can recall a time when i felt i had nowhere to go so i went to her classroom and explained my problem, once i explained what had happened she comforted me and was there for me. In a nutshell she is an extraordinary woman and deserves this award because she makes me want to do my best in every aspect of my life, and is an incredible role model, counselor, and above all else, friend.
