Gloria was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2006. She has had a multitude of petscans, MRI’s, blood work, and Biopsies. These tests have been on going for her since 2006, yet she maintains a sense of humor. She has gained knowledge of her disease and helps others, some whom have been referred to her by her oncologist. She is co-chair for the advocacy program with the Lymphoma Foundation. She works on committees at the wellness center in Phoenix focusing on providing services to survivors. She is a group facilitator for the Lymphoma Leukemia foundation. She is part of the outreach program for the Lymphoma Foundation. And despite everything she is involved in, Gloria always makes time for the many phone calls and emails she receives from newly diagnosed patients who have been referred to her. Gloria is truly making a big difference in so many lives.
