My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer my freshman year of high school. It was a very hard time for me because my mother and I have a very close relationship. I can not imagine what my life would be like if she had died from this horrible illness. She is one of my best friends. I know she is always there for me whether I need her or not. I have so much fun with her. She is full of life and laughter. I love when she does her dances around the house, sings in the morning, and uses her sarcasm to bring a smile to everyone's face. The world would not be as fun or happy place is she was not in it.
