Isaac Sanchez

My grandson was diagnosed with leukemia the day before his 2nd birthday. He was admitted to the Hospital on 09-30-11 and my son was told 10-01-11 that his son has cancer. After many hours of pokes and exams he under went a spinal tape and a mass intake of antibiotics. every week he was in the Dr.'s office getting some kind of test done. finally the good news, he is in remission but still has to go thru a 6 stage of meds with appts every 10 days then if for reason unknown if the immune system gets weak it changes the plan. He has a great spirit about the day to day routine. he laughs and plays along with his 2 sisters and 1 brother. His dad shaved his head when the hair on Isaac started to fall out, he did not want his baby to think he was different. He loves playing ball and riding scooters,At his age he doesn't realize the battle he is fighting. He is amazing in many different ways. He loves hot dogs and when he is at g_ma's he gets anything he wants, Besides the bank card. Daddy looks at him with fear in his eyes not knowing what the next day is going to bring. he plays with him with laughter and giggles. Dad dreams about baseball games and riding a two wheeler. Mom has her hands full with a household full but she keeps all posted with FB updates. This family is close and love each other but you can see how Isaac having leukemia has changed them a lot. they are amazing to say the least.
