My mom is the bravest person I know. She had lung cancer, which took her own dad, and many other relatives in our family. She bravely took it on and immediately had a surgery to take half her lung out. She had a long road to recovery, but she did it. She has been cancer-free since 2000. I am beyond proud of her and she is an inspiration to everyone around her!
