I know of Jackie through a coworker and through her organization. Jackie was diagnosed with AML when she was just 2 years old and then again 2 years later. She is an incredible inspiration to all that meet her. Through her everyday struggles, she still manages to put aside her pain and help others. Her journey has inspired 900 7th and 8th grade students to help her organization. Last year, we joined Jackie's Payitforwardwithjackie.org stocking drive. One child wantin to make a difference in the lives of others, led to over 150 stockings getting stuffed with 8 items each, to be delivered to homeless children and children in Phoenix Children's Hospital at Christmas time. The students at my school that joined her efforts aren't affluent in any way. They gave what they could and did so because of Jackie's story. Jackie is a 2 time cancer survivor, but chooses to live her life not just surviving, but inspiring others. She is a very special 9 year old that is going to change this world.
