My husband, my hero! If you met my Larry you would just love him, he has the greatest personality and very witty, that is why I fell in love with him 40 years ago. He has conquered bladder cancer, 10 years ago and appendix cancer (which is colon cancer) 2 years ago. He has had back surgery recently because the chemo destroyed alot of his nerves. I also had thyroid cancer 7 years ago. I often wonder why such horrible things happen to such good people. I guess it is because he is such a strong person. He is a loving husband and the greatest father of 2 of the most incredible daughters. He never thinks for one moment that tomorrow will not come (or if he does he sure does not show me or my daughters). Larry always says when he hears something horrible happening in the world or a young kid gets sick, he turns around and looks at me and says how lucky we are. We have been married for 35 years, he is my partner, friend, lover and I need him so much! He was always the one taking care of me (which I just loved), and then when he got sick I had to take care of him. It has been a very hard battle for me and the girls, but we try to stay strong. Sometimes when I hear other people complaining about such stupid things in life, I just say to myself, my God just be thankful that you get out of the bed every day feeling good. When my husband gets better, and he will, we are planning to go to Italy and really enjoy ourselves! One thing cancer has showed us is that life is so precious. and it has brought our family closer. Even though I never thought we could be closer. Larry is an inspiration to all people especially men! He is the best, and I am the luckiest woman in the world to have married such a great man!
