My son kris was diagnosed 8-02-11 with T cell leukemia. He was getting ready to start the fifth grade when we found out he was sick. He was also going to start another season of football. He was the quarterback of the team. We noticed kris devolved some bruises on his arm and legs. Took him to the doctor the next day. After being at the doctor or about four hours they sent us to Phoenix children's hospital . This was the scariest thing ever. His doctor didn't not tell us why we needed to take him to the hospital. They said thy would run some test. After 3 hours there and several test, we found out kid had cancer. 2 doctors and several nurse came in with mask on. Then we got the news that we will never forget. News that changed our lives. Kris was in the hospital for 7 days. He is now in remission and doing great. He will need 2 more years of treatment. Krs never complains when he is sick from his chemotherapy or when he lost all of his hair. He is my hero and is a hero to others.
