Elizabeth deserves the honor of Woman of the Year because she does so much for the mentally ill in the community!! Elizabeth is the owner of Singleton Housing. She provides low cost housing for people that have a mental illness or other disabilities. A lot of her clients would be homeless if not for Elizabeth. Not only does she provide housing, she gets them the services they need. Elizabeth just opened the newest community which is where I live. Most of us have our own apartments. Some of the clients do not have income right now and they live here for free. They may help with chores so they feel like they are helping with their rent. Elizabeth has a lot on her shoulders right now with getting new clients in, hiring the right staff that treat us right. She also spends a lot of her own money to make sure we have activities and other things. She does whatever it takes to make this place run. Elizabeth also host a radio program called The Pulse where she brings in experts on all different topics. This raises awareness for the community. Her show is on every Saturday morning at 10:00am. Elizabeth really deserves this honor as she has put in a lot of hours the past few months and she has helped a lot of the mentally ill in the community. She works with Magellan and the behavioral health hospitals to make sure people have quality housing. Thank You, Marlene Dwinnell
