Instructions:

Prep a 12-15 lb. whole turkey.  Salt/pepper and butter.

Place in a roasting pan WITH a cover, and set on the rack of the oven.

Add 2 cups of boiling water to the bottom of the roasting pan.


Roast for 1 hour at 500 degrees.  Make sure the cover is on the pan!!

After 1 hour, turn off the oven, but DO NOT open the door. 

Leave the turkey in the oven for 4-6 hours.  Then remove/enjoy!
