Bill Austin, the original F.O.B.
June 2nd 2010 saw the passing of our
beloved friend Bill Austin.
We honored his memory with a wonderful
and endearing tribute show that you can
hear in it's entirety.
Also, the Bill Austin Memorial Scholarship
was established, through Bill's estate
and ASU. With a generous donation from
spiritandword.org, the scholarship will be
awarded annually for many years to come!
Our special song for Bill:
Somewhere Over The Rainbow

This young man did a terrific job of singing the National Anthem at the NBA Finals game in San Antonio, but because he is Hispanic and was wearing his mariachi outfit (pretty popular in San Antonio ... and Phoenix!)the internet Neanderthals came out in full force complaining about him.
Guy Fieri joined us on the air Thursday morning with some tips for Father's
Day and to let you know about his new book!
LISTEN TO THE CALL
From Cliff Huxtable to Archie Bunker, and of course including Andy Taylor
and Homer Simpson ... here are some thoughts about being dads, just
in time for Father's Day.
If you and your band ever get a chance to appear on the Late Show, chances
are that David Letterman will come over and ask about your drums .. and
maybe even offer to buy them! Dave's a drummer himself, but he also pays
attention to other instruments as well ..
As one commenter put it "There are old bikers, and there are wild bikers.
There are no old wild bikers" This guy popped a big wheelie and got
more thaqn he bargained for! Didn't look like any of his friends stopped to help.
Take an old lady's bicycle, and strap a small jet onto it! Why not?
And it actually works! (Love the schoolboy outfit he's wearing on the test run!)
Today the dart flew north and landed on Laramie, Wyoming. So we called
Augusta Mizzelwitt's Back of the Wagon store, and made a new friend ...Chris!
LISTEN TO THE CALL
Boy, you turn on the sprinkler in the back yard in Alaska and you never
know what you'll get! Maybe a baby moose and his mom!
