Friday, April 13 sees the release of a new horror thriller The Cabin in the Woods, which might sound as if it has a familiar setup – five teenagers spend a weekend in a secluded cabin in the woods and there’s something out there – but it ends in a way that almost defies description.

 

The film was completed in 2009 but due to the economic woes of MGM, The Cabin in the Woods has sat on the shelf for three years, until now.
