I-10 narrowed at night
east of Wild Horse Pass Blvd starting Sunday evening (April 15)

 

PHOENIX – Weather permitting, crews will begin a
pavement project on Interstate 10 between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass
Boulevard Sunday night. Work will occur during overnight hours through the
morning of April 20. Drivers who use this stretch of I-10 should expect
possible delays because of single-lane restrictions in both directions as well
as overnight closures of the I-10 ramps at Queen Creek Road Sunday through
Tuesday nights.

 

The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends drivers
allow extra time and consider alternate routes while these restrictions are in
place:

 

  • Interstate 10 narrowed
         to one lane in both directions between Riggs Road and Wild Horse Pass
         Boulevard from 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday
    (April 16) for pavement
         work. Westbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Queen Creek Road also closed.
        
    Work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions. DETOUR:
         Please allow extra travel time. Westbound I-10 drivers can turn at Wild
         Horse Pass Boulevard and use eastbound I-10 to reach Queen Creek Road.

 

  • Interstate 10 also
         narrowed to one lane in both directions between Riggs Road and Wild Horse
         Pass Boulevard from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights
    (April 16-19). Eastbound
         I-10 ramps at Queen Creek Road scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. to 5
         a.m. Monday and Tuesday nights
    . DETOUR: Please allow extra
         travel time. Eastbound I-10 drivers can turn at Riggs Road and use
         westbound I-10 to reach Queen Creek Road.

 

  • Southbound Loop 101
         (Agua Fria Freeway) narrowed to three lanes between the 91st Avenue/Grand
         Avenue ramp and Northern Avenue
    from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (April 16) for
         guardrail repair. Freeway on- and off-ramps in this work zone are
         not affected. DETOUR: Merge carefully and obey posted speed limits
         and signs in the work zone.
