restrictions at I-17/I-10 ‘Stack’ interchange for bridge improvements

fans: Be aware of I-10 lane restrictions and I-17 ramp closures if leaving
downtown Phoenix late Saturday night
- All I-10 ramps to north- and southbound
I-17 closed 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday (April 21) for bridge work. I-10 narrowed to two
lanes in both directions at the I-17/I-10 “Stack” interchange. DETOUR:
Eastbound drivers can use 27th Avenue and westbound drivers can use 19th Avenue
to McDowell Road.
All I-17 ramps to east-
and westbound I-10 closed 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday (April 22) for bridge work. I-10 also narrowed
to two lanes in both directions at the I-17/I-10 “Stack” interchange. DETOUR:
Use McDowell Road to 27th Avenue for westbound I-10 or 19th Avenue for
eastbound I-10. Diamondbacks fans leaving downtown Phoenix area late Saturday
night can avoid I-17/I-10 area restrictions by using alternate routes.
I-17 closed in both
directions between McDowell Road and Adams/Van Buren Street from 9 p.m. Sunday
to 5 a.m. Monday (April 23) for bridge work at the I-17/I-10 “Stack” interchange. DETOUR:
Northbound drivers can exit Adams/Van Buren Street and southbound drivers can
exit McDowell Road and use frontage road.
Westbound I-10 on-ramp at
Broadway Road closed 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (April 23) for guardrail work. DETOUR:
Consider using Broadway Road to 40th Street.
Westbound US 60
(Superstition Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10 narrowed to two lanes 9 p.m.
Friday to 2:30 p.m. Saturday (April 21) for barrier wall repair. DETOUR: Merge carefully and obey
posted speed limit and signage in work zone.
Eastbound I-10 near Chandler
narrowed to one lane between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and Riggs Road from 10
p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday (April 23) for pavement work. Eastbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Queen
Creek Road closed. DETOUR: Exit Riggs Road and use westbound I-10 to
access Queen Creek Road.
Westbound I-10 on-ramp at
Seventh Avenue closed 10 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday (April 23) for sound wall painting. DETOUR:
Use the Third/Fifth Avenue HOV on-ramp instead.
