Overnight restrictions along westbound I-10 near downtown Phoenix, West Valley
PHOENIX – Installation of new, easier-to-read overhead signs continues Friday night on westbound Interstate 10 near downtown Phoenix. Drivers should plan for overnight ramp closures and lane restrictions in the work zone. To the west, traffic-interchange construction at I-10 and Loop 303 also calls for mostly-overnight restrictions.
Westbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane between Seventh Street
and Interstate 17 near downtown Phoenix from 11 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m.
Saturday (March 10) for overhead sign installation. Watch for multiple
westbound ramp closures in work zone including on-ramps at Third and
Fifth avenues, off-ramp at 19th Avenue and both ramps to I-17. DETOUR: Use
exits at Seventh or 27th avenues. For I-17 access, use 27th Avenue to McDowell
Road.
Westbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane between Sarival Avenue
and Cotton Lane in Goodyear from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday (March
10) and from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (March 11)
for interchange construction. Westbound I-10 on-ramp at Cotton Lane also
closed. DETOUR: Drivers can use Pebble Creek/Estrella Parkway on-ramp.
