Expect overnight Northbound I-17 closures near Peoria Ave., Loop 303 closed north of Olive Ave.

PHOENIX – Drivers in the Phoenix area can expect overnight
closures of northbound Interstate 17 near Peoria Avenue this weekend, according
to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Meanwhile, a section of Loop 303
north of Olive Avenue in the West Valley is due to be closed this weekend for
construction work.

Freeway restrictions are subject to change due to inclement
weather.

• Loop 303 closed in both directions between Olive Avenue and Cactus Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Feb. 11) while crews switch traffic to a construction detour and APS utility work. DETOUR: Consider using Cotton Lane or Sarival Avenue as alternate north-south routes in the area.

• Interstate 10 on- and off-ramps at 83rd Avenue closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Feb. 11) for pavement improvement work. 83rd Avenue also narrowed to one lane in each direction near I-10. DETOUR: Consider using ramps at 75th or 91st avenues to exit or enter I-10.

• Northbound Interstate 17 closed overnight at Peoria Avenue from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 9) for installation of traffic flow sensors. DETOUR: Freeway traffic will  detour along off- and on-ramps at Peoria Avenue. Consider using alternate routes to avoid overnight delays.

Northbound Interstate 17 closed overnight at Cactus Road from 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 10) for installation of traffic flow sensors. DETOUR: Freeway traffic will detour along off- and on-ramps at Cactus Road.
