"If I'm asked to name my favorite, it's very difficult. I favor reds, but I have found a white that I think will make just about any wine aficionado happy.
Casa Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc is a lovely, crisp white wine that hails from Chile. In fact, the winery makes a number of very tasty wines, but this is really great on a hot summer day in the valley...or quite frankly, any other time of year! Close your eyes, take a sip, swirl it around your mouth and tell me what you taste. Perhaps a hint of pear? That's what I taste, but you might pick up something very different, and that is just one of the things about wine that I love...you and I might have the same wine at the same time and experience completely different aromas and tastes. Casa Lapostolle not an expensive wine. It retails for around 13 dollars, and sometimes you'll find it for less than that."
