2007 BERINGER KNIGHTS
VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Located 17 miles northwest of the Beringer Winery in Napa Valley, Knight’s Valley has rocky alluvial well-drained soil uniquely similar to that of Bordeaux, and the resulting wines have characteristically bright black cherry fruit complemented by savory notes and rustic tannin.
Tasting Notes
Color: Ruby
Aroma: Blackberry, black cherry, brown sugar and star anise.
Palate: Juicy fruit core, round mouthfeel and dusty tannin that speak to the terroir.
Food match: Steak, Kobe burgers or pork tenderloin.
Oak: French Nevers oak barrels for one year.
Cellar: A collector’s Cabernet, cellar up to 10 years.
2008 BERINGER NAPA VALLEY CHARDONNAY
Beringer’s Napa Valley Chardonnay is a blend of vineyards that span Napa Valley’s top AVAs: From the cooler Carneros sub-appellation which helps bring bright acidity to the northern-most Yountville appellation where fruit reaches full ripeness with rich texture and tropical fruit aromas and flavors.

Aroma: Lemon meringue, pear, vanilla bean
Palate: Richly flavored and layered wine with citrus, tropical fruit, vanilla and lightly toasted oak.
Food match: Seafood, roast chicken or duck confit
Oak: Half the wine is aged in French Oak for 9 months.

2005 BERINGER NAPA VALLEY MERLOT
The majority of grapes come from Beringer’s vineyard on Big Ranch Road, just north of the city of Napa. Merlot from the DeCarle Vineyard in Oakville, as well as some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc is added to the final blend to create a rich, flavorful Merlot.

Aroma: Black cherry, blueberry, and cocoa mint
Palate: Black cherry, plum, cocoa, brown spice, toffee and vanilla
Food match: Duck Confit, Bolognese pasta, roast chicken with mushroom
