
Full Description: This week, our friends from Alliance Beverage will be in the studio with Beth and Friends to talk about Chateau Tananda Wines! These fine wines are available at local valley Fry’s, Bashas’, Albertson’s, Whole Foods, Cost Plus and Total Wine!
Château Tanunda, established in 1890 in the heart of the Barossa Valley, is Australia’s oldest and grandest château. As the cornerstone of the Barossan wine industry, this fi rst-growth château is the site of the fi rst vines planted in the Barossa Valley in 1845 and is today, privately owned by the Geber family.
These fines wine will be sampled with Beth and Friends on Thursday, April 15th:
Grand Barossa Shiraz
GRAND BAROSSA Shiraz epitomizes the international reputation for Shiraz that has made the Barossa region world famous. “A wine makers dream”, the grapes are hand selected from the rich tapestry of prime parcels within the Barossa. Excellent soils and exceptional growing conditions produce Shiraz with big, bold, full-flavors, balanced with the distinguished characters of Shiraz from the cooler climate sub-region, Eden Valley. A GRAND wine - that masterfully delivers Australian Shiraz flavors with our classic and refined European style, combining the best of old and new worlds.
Tasting Notes: GRAND BAROSSA Shiraz is intense deep red in color, with lifted aromas of red berry fruit and spice. The palate is soft and supple, yet elegant with plenty of upfront fruit flavor and length. Hints of exotic spices and pepper marry with vanillan oak and a Barossan earthiness on the long lingering finish. Beautifully balanced tannins derived from 18 months in American and French oak complement the luscious fruit and give the wine added complexity.
Varietals: 95% Shiraz, balanced with Cabernet Sauvignon & Grenache.

Food Pairing: Delicious with rare roast meats and tomato based pasta dishes.
Noble Baron Cabernet Sauvignon
NOBLE BARON wines integrate the best of European style, with the exceptional quality and unique characters of Australian, Barossa fruit. The style is classic and refined, combining both traditional and
modern techniques to make notable wines of the highest class. The grapes are handpicked from prime, low-yielding vineyards from some of the Barossa’s most renowned sub-regions, including Greenock and
Lyndoch. Treated with the utmost care during the winemaking process, the grapes are uncrushed, hand plunged and basket pressed.
Tasting Notes: NOBLE BARON Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb handcrafted wine of complexity and intensity. Brilliant ruby red in color, the bouquet displays enticing aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, green tea and mint. The palate is rich and concentrated while the elegant French oak gives a ‘subtle lift’ to the wine. Soft supple tannins add to the texture and weight, and the long, lingering finish. This wine will age
gracefully for 10 years plus.

Grand Barossa Riesling

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling draws from the Barossa region’s Germanic history. Barossa (often known as being synonymous with Shiraz) is once again turning heads for its exceptional Rieslings. This refreshing wine displays all the delicacy, elegance and finesse of this noble variety. A GRAND wine - that masterfully delivers Australian Riesling flavors with our classic and refined European style, combining the best of old and new worlds.
Tasting Notes: GRAND BAROSSA Riesling is subtle yellow in color, displaying delicate lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits. Lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit are in abundance.
The palate is focused, pure and linear with a delicious juicy fi nish. Elegant and intense
with a touch of minerality and refreshing acidity
