Get a "behind the scenes" look at a little Beth and Bill Grapevine sampling. video

This week on Beth and Bill’s Grapevine we are featuring three distinctly crisp Washington Wines, distributed by Wanderlust Trading Company and available locally at AJ’s Fine Foods. Try them at Quiessence, too!

2006 Calico Red Columbia Valley - Bergevin Lane Vineyards, Walla Walla, WA

The only WA state blend with Zinfandel! Dark berries, spice, minerality, and earth combined with violets, some liquorish and pleasant hints of vanilla and oak marks the beginning of this wine. Fresh young smooth tannins and integrated acidity bind fruit and structure together implying great potential of further complexity development with some extended bottle aging or if preferred now decanting for at least an hour.

Bergevin Lane Vineyards, located in Walla Walla, Washington, vision is to create elegant styled wines that reflect harmony between fruit and oak. These wines are food friendly, fruit-driven, balanced… simply put -wines that you can enjoy for any occasion.

Blend: 36% Merlot; 30% Cabernet Sauvignon; 25% Syrah; 7% Zinfandel; 2% Cabernet Franc

Rated “Best Blends” Nov-Dec 2008 by Northwest Palate Magazine
