Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc 2005
Tasting Notes:
Jasmine-tinged aromas lead to fresh melon and pear flavors enlivened with a hint of orange and complex floral and mineral notes. Beautiful balance of crisp acidity and creamy texture from sur lie aging.
Appellation:
Napa Valley
Concannon Petite Sirah 2004
Tasting Notes:
Our new 2005 Limited Release Petite Sirah is an intense wine with vibrant berry fruits and a rich, full palate. The wine starts with attractive aromas of ripe berries, creamy oak and a touch of spice. This is a full-bodied wine, yet it has a firm and balanced structure with hints of toasty oak and vanilla on the palate. There’s plenty to sink your teeth into now as the finish is quite lasting and memorable.
Enjoy with wild game, teriyaki beef, herb-rubbed lamb or decedent dark chocolate.
Appellation: Central Coast
Souverain Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Tasting Notes:
Rich aromatics of roasted coffee, black and red fruit on the nose lead to flavors of black cherry, black plum and blackberry on the palate. The high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon creates dark, brooding yet structured tannins along with subtle layers of vanilla, bittersweet chocolate and baking spices. This balanced wine offers a well-structured mouthfeel that contributes to a long, toasty oak finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful introduction to Alexander Valley.
