Estancia Monterey Chardonnay
Uncork & unwind with 2006 Chardonnay, Pinnacles Ranches, Monterey. The cool climate and sandy, well-drained soils keep yields low and fruit intnsity high.
Appearance - Straw gold in color.
Aroma - Fresh pear and crisp apple are accented by notes of honeydew with a touch of floral on the finish. Flavor - Bright tropical notes and stone fruit compliment the vibrant nuances of citrus. Soft touches of toasty oak and cream accentuate the lingering, minerally finish.
Varietal Composition - 99% Chardonnay, 1% Viognier.
Estancia Santa Lucia Highlands Reserve Pinot Noir
Monterey's Santa Lucia Highlands appellation is one of California's most exciting new regions for world-class Pinot Noir and the site of Estancia's Stonewall Vineyard.
This wine is big and concentrated,
with a deep, dark garnet color. Aromas of black plum, cassis, raspberry and violets are set against spicy vanilla from French oak aging.
Flavors are richly rip and mouthfilling: black plum and black cherry with a rose-petal finish enlivened by bright acidity. A brilliant wine, with tremendous fruit flavors and firm silky tannins.
Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon is a quintessential Napa Valley Cab. The season provided the ideal combination of cool evenings and warm-cool days.
Appearance - Ruby Red.
Aromas - Blackberry, plum, clove, coffee, and cassis with hints of toasty oak and sweet vanilla.
Flavor - Flavors of cassis, coffee, and toasted oak add to this rich and mouth-filling cabernet. A lingering finish is the result of a well-structured body, full texture with ripe, refined tannins.
Varietal Composition - 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Syrah, 1% Petit Verdot.
